I'm not quite sure where to start this post at, so I will just jump right in. The main reason I have started to blog is to keep friends and family posted on what is going on in our lives. We will soon (within 6 months or less I hope) be starting a new house and I want this to be my scrapbook journal of all the progress . So far we recently purchased a camper that will be our home while we are building. I'm not real sure how I feel about that. While I love camping, living in there will be different. At least it is just the 2 of us. We also have our house plans finished, so that has me ready to get it going.
This is something that I have alot of mixed feelings about. While I am excited about our new house, I'm kinda sad about moving from our old house. Our old house is the house I have lived in for the most of my life. My parents bought this house in 1962, I was 1 1/2years old. I lived here until I married my wonderful husband in 1979, I was 18 then. We have always lived close to our families (within a few miles). After my parents passed away, my 2 sisters and I inherited their house and land. We then moved into the house in 2001 and have been here since. Now the time has come for that chapter in our lives to close and we are selling this place and moving.
I hope this is not to long and boring, hopefully my post will not be so long anymore. I will share pics as soon as my daughter teaches me how to do so.
